A rule's conditions determine which videos receive its actions. The first row controls how multiple conditions are combined:
- All: every condition must match.
- Any: at least one condition must match.
- None: none of the conditions may match.
Use the plus button to add another condition. Choose an attribute, a comparison and the value to compare against. Available comparisons depend on the attribute.
Useful attributes
- Name: the title in the video's metadata, which can differ from its filename.
- Original Filename: the source filename without its folder path.
- Original Path: the source location, useful for rules restricted to a watch folder.
- Metadata found: whether the metadata lookup found a result.
- Audio Tracks, Subtitle Tracks and Surround Audio Tracks: check for tracks in a particular language.
- Video Width and Video Height: match the dimensions of the video.
Text comparisons
Use contains, begins with or ends with for simple text checks. is like supports * for zero or more characters and ? for one character. matches uses a regular expression.
For example, checking the Original Path lets you apply a rule only to videos from a particular input folder.
