You may want to keep your own metadata instead of running an automatic online search. A rule can disable automatic lookup for all videos or only for a chosen group.
- Open iFlicks settings and select Rules.
- Create a rule under On File Load.
- Set conditions for the files you want to affect. For example, use Original Path to identify a folder containing home videos.
- Add Enable Automatic Metadata Lookup and set it to No.
- Load a sample file and confirm that its metadata is not replaced by an automatic search.
Use the file-load stage because automatic lookup begins after those rules run. Check other active rules if the search still starts.
