Finding the AppleScript commands

Use Script Editor to inspect the commands supported by your installed iFlicks version.

iFlicks includes an AppleScript dictionary describing the commands and properties it exposes.

  1. Open Script Editor on your Mac.
  2. Choose File → Open Dictionary….
  3. Select your installed copy of iFlicks.
  4. Browse the iFlicks suite to see video properties, commands and processing states.

Use the dictionary shipped with your installed version when writing a script. It provides the terminology expected by that version, including the available preset and status values.

Start with a single test video. Processing is asynchronous, so a script should check the video's status before assuming that an output is ready.
