For a TV episode, iFlicks needs the correct series name, season and episode number. A clear filename such as Example Show.S02E05.mkv helps supply this information.
- Check that the video is identified as a TV show.
- Verify the series name, season and episode number.
- Check the TV-show database selected in iFlicks settings.
- Search again and compare the episode title and description.
The current app includes TV-show sources for The Movie Database and TheTVDB. Their records and episode numbering can differ. Specials and alternative episode orders need particular care: compare the episode against the source you selected.
If a series repeatedly needs a different search title, an On File Load rule can apply that correction automatically.
