A useful request explains the action you attempted, the result you expected and what actually happened. Start with one affected file or a short sequence of repeatable steps.
What to include
- iFlicks version/build and whether it came from the App Store, the direct download or Setapp.
- macOS version and Mac model.
- The exact error message and relevant screenshots.
- Source container and tracks, chosen preset, and local/external/network storage locations.
- Whether one file or all files are affected, and which comparisons you have tried.
- The player and device if the problem concerns the finished output.
Include a diagnostic log
- Open iFlicks settings and select Advanced.
- If more detail is needed, note the current log level and temporarily choose Debug.
- Reproduce the problem once.
- Choose Help → Send Feedback….
- Review the prepared email, add your description and check for the compressed log attachment.
- Send the message when ready, then restore your previous log level.
The feedback command attempts to prepare an email with a log attachment. If that is unavailable, it may open an email without the attachment or the support website. Check the draft rather than assuming a log was included or sent. You can also write to support@iflicks.app.
Logs may contain filenames, paths and other personal information. Review what you share and never include passwords or payment-card details. For an existing case, reply in the same conversation and include its reference. Wait for instructions before sending a large video file.
